Blessing of the Animals

Blessing of the Animals is held each October in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. Students bring their dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, snakes, hamsters, fish and more. All of the animals who come receive a special blessing. The Chaplain and Rector bless the animals. If you can't bring your pet, you may bring a photo, or if you don't have a pet, you may bring a stuffed animal.
