Established in 1958 as an outreach project of the church, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Day School celebrates the past while educating for the future. An oasis in the heart of the Grove, St. Stephen’s serves about 320 students in Pre-K3 – Grade 5. Its mission is to provide students with the academic, ethical, and spiritual foundation to succeed in a diverse and changing world.

Math Coach 

The SSEDS Math Coach is an elementary school math expert with an innovative mindset. The coach must creatively, capably, and effectively teach students from three to eleven years of age, plan with faculty members to reinvigorate and innovate the teaching and learning of mathematics, model lessons, observe and provide feedback to help faculty members reach their highest potential. Additionally, the coach must possess extraordinary communication skills to promote the importance of math competencies and instruction to all constituencies. View full job description

Director of Development 
The Director of Development leads the Development office and works closely with the Head of School and Board of Directors to oversee and manage all aspects of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Day School development program. The Director of Development must be able to think strategically and practically to implement a comprehensive and results-oriented development plan that includes traditional and innovative strategies. Key components of this plan should include goals, strategies, and timetables for major and capital gifts, the endowment funds, alumni giving, Annual Giving Fund, and should include a focus on tactics to build key relationships with alumni, families, and the broader community. Facilities Technician
The Facilities Technician is a full-time position that requires general maintenance skills (painting, drywall, light carpentry), A/C diagnosis and repair (1-5 ton units), electrical work (troubleshoot circuits, change switches, breakers and ballasts), plumbing (replace fixtures, solder pipes, irrigation repairs).
