Students receive a hot lunch, in addition to a salad bar and snacks, which are diversified to meet a wide variety of dietary needs. Fees cover an iPad for each student in Grades 1 to 5, textbooks and classroom supplies, yearbooks and day field trips.

All applicants will be invited for a virtual assessment. Students who currently attend another school, must submit academic records from that school.

The application deadline for the 2021-2022 school year is January 11, 2021.

You will be notified of the Admission Committee’s decision the first week of March.

No. Admission to the school is designed to welcome all people and encourage them to join a life of learning, service and compassion. Students are accepted without regard to race or creed. Preference is given to siblings of current students and parishioner families. A parishioner family is one that, for at least one year prior to applying to St. Stephen's, has:

  • been attending worship regularly at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, as determined by the Rector
  • been active, pledging members of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church and have made a financial pledge for the upcoming year
  • been actively involved in at least one volunteer ministry or program of the church

In addition, to an interview with the St. Stephen's Director of Admission, the parishioner applicant's family must schedule an interview with the Rector of St. Stephen's Church and School.

St. Stephen’s is a full member of the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS), the chief accrediting body for independent schools in Florida.

We are also members of the National Association of Episcopal Schools, the National Association of Independent Schools and Independent Schools of South Florida.
