Blessing of the Animals

Blessing of the Animals is held each October in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. Students bring their dogs, cats, rabbits, turtles, snakes, hamsters, fish and more. All of the animals who come receive a special blessing. The Chaplain and Rector bless the animals. If you can't bring your pet, you may bring a photo, or if you don't have a pet, you may bring a stuffed animal.

Day School Sunday

Each year, Episcopal Churches nationwide celebrate their schools on Day School Sunday. Students and their families join the parish for a special service dedicated to the teachers and students who are part of the school community. Often alumni and their families also attend. Following the service, the church and school communities join together for a reception. For our 60th Anniversary, we welcomed back alumni from all decades of the school, as well as former Chaplains.
