Scholarship Program

The scholarship program is designed to advance St. Stephen’s mission by expanding access to families who are strongly aligned with the school’s values and for whom tuition is a barrier to enrollment.

The program also seeks to strengthen the school community by attracting and retaining families who will actively contribute to the life of St. Stephen’s.

Families seeking a scholarship will complete:

  1. The St. Stephen’s admissions application process.
  2. The financial aid application through Clarity.
  3. Scholarship-specific questions.

Application Deadline: December 15

Scholarship decisions will be based on a holistic review that considers:

  • Alignment with the mission and values of St. Stephen’s.
  • The family’s commitment to character, service, and community.
  • The student’s readiness and fit for the school.
  • The family’s potential to positively contribute to the St. Stephen’s community.

Scholarships are intended to represent a mutual commitment between St. Stephen’s and participating families. Recipients are expected to:

  • Remain in good standing with the school.
  • Uphold the mission and values of St. Stephen’s.
  • Maintain meaningful engagement with the school community.
  • Support their child’s successful participation in school.
  • Complete required annual financial aid documentation.

Families may contribute to the community in ways that reflect their individual time, talents, expertise, and availability.

Scholarships will be reviewed annually and are not guaranteed from year to year. Renewal decisions will consider:

  • Fulfillment of scholarship expectations.
  • The student and family’s standing within the school community.
  • Ongoing engagement with the school.
  • Continued financial need.
  • Available scholarship funding.

Awards may be adjusted or discontinued based on changes in financial circumstances, fulfillment of program expectations, or the availability of funds.
